Robert E. Fulton, Jr. died last Friday, at the age of 95.
I first learned of Mr. Fulton when I read his book, One Man Caravan, which chronicled his journey around the world on a modified Douglas twin-cylinder motorcycle in 1933.
Non-riders may know of Mr. Fulton through his myriad inventions: the Airphibian flying car, the Skyhook aerial rescue system, various forms of wheelchairs, etc.
