The Alu-Rack and Givi adapter plate arrived in the mail today…but they don’t fit together at all.
I’ve had good luck with TwistedThrottle in the past, so I shot them off an email asking if I’m mentally missing something, or whether they sent me the wrong Givi adapter (the Alu-Rack itself is definitely the correct one for the Z750S).
So it looks like I’ll be using the tried-and-true soft saddlebags for the Solvang trip this weekend. It’s funny; I love hard bags both for their security and their waterproofing, but I’ve had those TourMaster Cortech bags for almost five years now and they’ve never once failed me on any bike.
