Fitness for Bikers

I added a new section to bluepoof.comfitness for bikers.

It’s pretty sparse so far, but includes my basic weightlifting routine for motorcycling. The exercises all link to now, but I’d like to eventually supplement the page with pictures of myself doing the lifting.

Let me know if you’ve got any additional suggestions!

    I went out, got some weights, and tried these exercises on Sunday. Very fun, and very sore-making. I’m gonna do another routine today. I’ve never lifted weights before, but since I started riding it has been very clear to me that I would be much more comfortable if some of my muscles were stronger. This page will help a ton.
    How about a little more instruction for the TRUE beginners in the crowd? I followed the links you posted and I think I got a rough idea of reps/sets/frequency type stuff, but it might be nice if you could give suggestions on your page about these things, as well as stuff like warm ups, cool downs, etc.
    Thanks a lot for this. It is wonderful to have a listing of exercises targeted at motorcycling muscles. I’m amazed no one has thought of it before.

    Cool, OK, I’ll write some schtuff up. I can’t really give Real Life Trainer Advice, just what’s worked for me….but I’ll enquire around and see what I can find. šŸ™‚
