Write-up: plugging a tubeless tire

Write-up on plugging a tubeless tire.

I got the new tire this morning, hurray! I have now had eight miles without some sort of mechanical failure. Celebrate the little victories, I say.

    Just accidently browsed through here.
    Great site!
Good to see more chicks on the road with a 2 wheeler!
I’m from Australia and am currently on a honda cbr 250rr at the moment. Nothing special but its surely a great learners bike though.
Hopefully I’d earn enough money for the yamaha yzf-r1 by the end of the year 🙂
Nice ride you got by the way.
Take it easy and ride safe!

I got a flat tire on my SVS because of a nail in it. At the dealer they plugged the hole and put a tube in (it was originally a Metzler tubeless). Cost a lot less than a new tire and is good as new. Did you keep your old tire or think about just putting a tube in?

Haven’t had to fix a puncture yet. I did totally dismantel the front of my bike and replace the tach’s face plate with a bulbless face plate. I was so nervous I didn’t take pictures though 🙁 Bah.
Anyway, you make this stuff look easy!
