One season down

Time flies when you’re having fun….it seems like just yesterday I was buying my first pair of skates and teetering around at skills classes. Now my first season of adult hockey is officially over and I’m teetering around at skills classes. 🙂

I’ve signed up for two leagues again next season: NCWHL and Ice Oasis’s Women’s League.

I wanted to keep playing twice a week but, for various reasons, didn’t want to do the Saturday night beginner’s league at Ice Oasis anymore. The IO women’s league will be fun, yet challenging, and I’m really looking forward to meeting kickass new gals. That league starts on Saturday, September 16, but I may wind up skipping my first game as my mom’ll be in town.

For NCWHL, I’m going to be trying out for the Red division. The evaluation schedules haven’t been posted yet, but they should be sometime in mid-September. Fingers crossed, everyone!
