Writing iz hard.

Oh hi, I guess it’s been two weeks since I’ve posted.  The good news is that blueberry is still cooking and I hit 33 weeks today.  Yay!  I’m obviously still on modified bed rest, though I’m home now after a brief second stint in the hospital last week.

But oh my, you guys, I’m having the worst brain farts trying to come up with stuff to blog about.

I really want to be writing about motorcycles and awesome stuff but every time I sit down to do a blog entry, I stare at the page and my brain goes DERP DERP DERP and I say “to hell with this” and wind up watching more Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

So, hey, what should I write about?  Shoot me some ideas in the comments and I shall reward you with witty blog entries with awesome photos and sparkling commentary.  Or something.  Hit me up, at any rate.  I’m blanking here, people.  😀

    Yay, Buffy! 😉

Hmm… ideas about blog posts… how about:
    – Your first memories of motorcycling
    – How you first got into motorcycling
    – What would your dream bike/bikes look like?
    – Your dream rides
    – Your first long distance ride
    – What would you have in your dream garage?
    – What biking plans do you have for Blueberry?
    – Do you ever want to do a mother/daughter bike trip when she is older?
    – You’re very hands-on with fixing your bikes. Advice for people who are just starting out with that?

I guess a lot of these might have been answered if your blog somewhere if I had read every single entry, so links would be okay too. 🙂 I’ll add more as I think of them.

You are made of awesome! 😀 I’ll definitely get to those within the next few days (I, um, have to finish watching this Buffy episode now….).

    Here’s one I’d love to hear about…

How do you deal with (in your mind) the dangers inherent in riding in heavy traffic? When I lived in Vegas, I lived right on the very edge of town, so it was easy to head off on the bike away from the city and not have to deal with any of it.

However, I’m right in the heart of the ‘burbs in Sacramento, and if I want to ride the bike anywhere, I first have to deal with 30-40 of very heavy traffic before I can actually “go” anywhere. As a result, I haven’t ridden the bike in 5 months, the battery is dead, and I’m questioning whether or not I should just let it go…all because I’m having trouble dealing with the idea of spending so much time during each ride dodging the idiots.

Any advice for those of us who are proving to be “traffic shy”?

I would totally not mind reading commentary on Buffy episodes. I just finished watching all of them about a week ago and am working my way through Angel right now.

My friends on Ravelry who watch Supernatural have an episode-by-episode discussion, and I would LOVE to have had that for Buffy. Am really enjoying “Angel” eps, too.

(Do you remember the Buffy ep where she could read everyone’s thoughts, and everyone was thinking something different from what they were saying, except for Cordelia, who said EXACTLY what she was thinking? Love her.)

LOL @ the Cordelia part. That made me laugh too.

      We really need a discuss-Buffy-episode-by-episode forum. 😀

Never really got into Angel. It got too weird after Season 3.
