Bellevue, WA

My quintessential Seattle experience.

This is the Starbucks at Loehmann’s Plaza on 128th Ave SW (well, one of the Starbucks in the strip mall, at least), with a T-Mobile HQ building looming in the background.

Yep, this is what I rode 930 miles for. Starbucks and TMO.

Cool. I worked across the street from there for several months in late 2005. How weird is it to have a strip mall with two Starbucks?!
There are a couple of other notable restaurants in the strip mall. There’s a sandwich joint towards the back that’s pretty good and an expensive sushi joint on the other end that’s delicious.

Love your blog. I just bought an F650GS. Your text is inspirational. I’m a new rider/re-entering rider, so I’ve been all over the web reading up. What kind of windshield do you have on your red F650? Thanks! Keep up the great work.

I used to work at that TMO building! Freaky to see those places posted about on the internets.

Dragon: I’ll have to remember that! I’m getting sick of Starbucks food for my Seattle meals. šŸ˜‰
Cooper: Thanks! It’s a BMW “tall shield” — I ordered mine for about $130 from the local dealership.
Schmi: Small world! Our meeting was in Newport 5 on Friday but I’ve been in other buildings on previous trips.

Ugh! We were actually in Bellvue, WA about the same time! We must plan these things better, my friend! šŸ™‚
