Smack dab in the middle of the “Beach Cities” on a rainy day along the
Pacific Coast Highway.
We’ve been through Laguna Beach and Newport Beach and now Huntington
Beach and are pointed towards Long Beach and Redondo Beach.
It’s a pleasant day, actually; the rain is sporadic and light (though it
was a bit of a nuisance on I-5 from San Diego to Hwy 1. I thought the
Bay Area’s freeways weren’t suited for rain…they’ve got nuttin’ on San
Diego’s freeways).
