Whee, gas stop in Riverside, just outside of San Bernardino. I-215 is a pleasant surprise — so far it’s warm, lightly trafficked, and smoothly paved. No complaints from either of us!

McKittrick, CA

Ah, scenic McKittrick. Not much going on in this sleepy town today. The 10 miles leading into town had frequent cables strewn across Hwy 33 for “seismic research”, which added intrigue to an otherwise uneventful 75 miles.
