Why would you read this blog for free when you could spend US Dollars to read my writing? 
My Alaska Highway article is in this month’s RoadBike (July 2005), available now on newsstands. You can find it at the large chain bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Borders, as well as in some drugstores like Longs and Walgreens.
Plugging for my own article aside, if you haven’t checked out RoadBike before, give it a whirl. It’s one of the few bike mags I still subscribe to. Two thumbs up.

I remember browsing through the magazine at a local store. I ran across that article and didn’t think to read it. I just saw the word, “Alaska,” and I thought, pwish, I’ve already read a good write-up of an Alaska trip.

Of course I did. I even sent a letter to them and said I really enjoyed the article, and that I liked how she wrote. ‘Put a little bug in their ear.
