Peter’s credit card company has decided that road trips are outside of his normal spending habits and, therefore, they should shut the card off. Whee!

    That has happened to me more than once. I was told that one of the easy ways people tell if a stolen credit card is still useable is to buy a couple gallons of gas at interstate stations. Which is just what I was doing on a trip. I was able to get them to stop cutting it off but it took a lot of bitching and more than one phone call to the cc company.
