End of Month Putt

Our Women on Wheels chapter has a ride on the last Saturday of every month, called the End of Month (EOM) Putt. We all show up at a Starbucks in Fremont at 10am, drink coffee, chat, and decide where to ride that day. Sometimes we do a long ride, sometimes a short one.

Today, we rode up the freeway a few miles until the northern terminus of Calaveras Road. We took it south into Milpitas, with a little loop around Felter and Sierra Roads.

I brought my camera and mount, and got some really nice pictures, especially of Prue at the end of the ride.

I don’t like the look of the lower fairing on the ’01-’02 model very much. πŸ™ One of the reasons I fell in love with the SVS way back in the day was because you can see the engine….it’s that Milwaukee blood in me. I like seeing all the innards and bits and pretties. πŸ™‚
The pictures you linked to for the ’03 model do look snazzy though. πŸ™‚

    I love Calaveras road.
Unfortunately chores called first, as this is the first weekend Don’s had without pain, so we had to do some stuff (like get him added to the bank account), and then I was making the “final” (hah) tweaks to the Markeroni Challenge. So at midnight 1st Feb I was at the Hendy Ironworks, with Penguin.
