Hooray for luggage!

When my buddy Mike sold me the Ninja, he also gave me a second seat that he’d modified to include a nifty seat rack.  It’s built right into the seat and was made to hold a JC Whitney tail bag.

I thought it looked awfully similar to the Givi setup and, sure enough, my Givi fits right on with no modifications needed! 🙂

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, but I think you get the gist. I’m about to ride down to town just to pick up Indian takeout and put it in the Givi bag.

After dinner, I’ll take real (non-cell phone) pics of the homemade seat rack that Mike made.

I never did like the look of tailbags perched up high above bikes, but I know it’s probably awesome just to have dry, lockable luggage.

You going to set up an LJ feed or x-post to Facebook when you post here? 😉

I’m trying to get it set up to post to Facebook like it did for my old blog, but for some reason FB keeps telling me that the feed URL is invalid. Looking on the internets shows this seems to be a common problem…looks like a FB bug. 🙁

There’s probably a WordPress plugin or something to post to FB…I should look into that more. 😀

since we’re commenting on feed improvements … any way to set it so I can read it through Google Reader, rather than getting the title and first two lines and then having to click through”

Hi Nora!! I don’t use feeds myself so keep letting me know if stuff is screwed up. 🙂 I *think* I have it set now to do the full text in the feed instead of just the excerpt…lemme know.
