Dropping the F650GS on Saturday made me realize that I don’t mind dropping my bikes anymore. This probably has something to do with the fact that all of my drops are now off-road (as opposed to, say, when stepping in potholes in parking lots).
But the truth remains that gravity incidents which would have made me angry and depressed and self-loathing a few years ago are now funny and…..well, normal. Par for the course in this magical new land of gravel and sand and mud.
To commemorate these events, therefore, I’ve put together a tribute page called, fittingly, “Oops!”.*
