Yep, I’m home sweet home, at least for another 2.5 weeks.
Here are some photos from the second half of my trip…
Nothin’ says Midwest like a pretty red barn

Meramec Caverns near Stanton, Missouri

Arkansas state route 7 through the Ozarks

Oklahoma City National Memorial, OKC

Cadillac Ranch, Hwy 40 outside of Amarillo, TX

Hwy 160 outside of Durango, CO

The Mojave Desert, Hwy 58 in southeastern CA

I’ll post a full route map once I download it off my GPS.

I’m sure we photographed the same joshua tree.
Hey, welcome back! Nice pictures! I compliment you on your use of the “rule of thirds” to place the subject off center in the composition.
Very nice pictures! Wish I lived in the lower 48, but only when I see stuff like this, otherwise I’m happy to be in AK.
If you got rained / poured on, I hope you intend on reviewing your rain gear. I’m looking for a new jacket and need something that is actually waterproof and warm – not something that says it is and leaks
Groovy pics. Always enjoy your posts.
The two small sets of ‘selected’ trip pictures perfectly capture my idealized notion of a cross-country motorcycle trip. Thanks for helping office-bound riders live vicariously!
