I’d fully intended on doing both the front and rear pads last night, but taking the pictures turned out to be a huge pain in the ass. I finished the rear pads, spent 20 minutes cleaning three years of dirt off of my hands, and sat on the couch for the rest of the night.
Anyhoo, here’s the brake pad write-up.
New brake pads, like new tires, are always amazing to me. Since both wear too gradually to notice, it’s like a whole new world when I put on new ones. I suspect that my epiphany will be even greater when I replace the front brake pads, but I was so excited to hit the brakes this morning and have the bike stop.
I shouldn’t really admit this stuff in public, huh.
