Spinal Decompression Therapy

Since I posted the acupuncture pics last week, I thought it only fair that I ask my buddy Sheila, a tech at New Back Doc’s, to photograph me on the spinal decompression therapy machine this past week.

My arms look janky in the photo but they’re actually quite comfortable during the treatment.  Must just be a weird angle.

Anyway, this has been my life for 30 minutes at a time, 3x a week, all summer.  Now I’m down to just once per week.

The empty table you can see in the picture is usually empty.  The table on the other side of it is generally occupied by James, the fantastic man who has the other 9:30am appointments on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.  James and I chitchat up a storm during our treatment sessions, much to the entertainment of Sheila and her coworker Lorena.  We’re troublemakers.
