I’m sure it comes as no surprise to anyone that I’m hopelessly OCD about both maps and organization — two great tastes that have, until now, not gone well together.
I’ve tried dozens of ways to store my maps: shoved onto bookshelves, stacked in drawers, wedged into shoeboxes, put into accordian-style expandable folders. But nothing seemed right.
Fortunately, Saint Colleen (DantesDame on Sport-Touring.net) has saved me from a lifetime of misery. When I was at her house in Seattle, she showed me how normal, AAA-sized maps will fit perfectly into a standard filebox.
A couple of bucks at Office Depot later, I have a nice new map-storage facility. Life is glorious once again.
