Check out Total Escape for your California Forest Service map needs. I just ordered 2 maps from them and got them quickly and in perfect yummy trail-showing condition. They’re a little more expensive than buying them at the ranger stations, but I’m happy to pay for the convenience of having maps delivered to me while I sit on my ass.
Plus, the website has lots of great info on CA parks and recreation — including a section on off-highway vehicles (OHV) and dirt bike riding. 😉
