I leave tonight for Merced and the Sport-Touring.net Northern California Adventure. Woot! I'm pretty much utterly unprepared. Fortunately, I've gone on enough trips this summer that it takes me about 45 seconds now to toss the necessities in the saddlebags and be ready to go.

I'll be blogging from the road again. I've also added a link to the blog from the main journal page. I can't keep track of its URL, so I really shouldn't expect you guys to.

The blog also has a Very Special Friend this time around. His name is Goochy, and he is a jellyfish. There's a little poem about Goochy, too:

Swirl, swish, squirm, and wiggle
Listen closely, hear him giggle
The most ticklish jellyfish you'll ever meet
Even though he has no feet!

Goochy and I are going to have lots of fun on our little ride this weekend.
