I was born and raised in southern Wisconsin, where I acquired a lifelong affinity for cheese, beer, and oddly-pronounced vowels. I graduated from Beloit College (also in southern Wisconsin) in May 1999, with BAs in Computer Science and French. Two days after graduation, I hopped in my car and drove to California.

Now, I live in Cupertino, California (about 40 miles south of San Francisco) with my long-suffering husband Peter and our horde of big fat cats.

By day, I'm a program manager for Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division (specifically in the Premium Mobile Experience department, for those that care).

In my copious free time, I ride motorcycles, play ice hockey, rock climb, lift weights, hang out at TechShop, and lots more.
