What an awesome start to the season! Great playing by everyone all the way around. Huzzah.
The shorter stick continues to do right by me. I had a couple of great shots on net from the point…must remember to aim at the net, not the goalie. “Great shot” doesn’t count for much when it lands smack dab on the goalie’s pads!
Still no team name, and so we remain “R2”. I like Jena’s name suggestion of “are too!”, complete with exclamation point.
After the game, I got this adorable photo of me and Val (of oh-so-recent Val’s Spiny Dogfish fame) with her little motorcycle shirt. Vrroom!
