Packing miracles.

I’m in Seattle! My coworkers and I are all drinking nonfat coffees and typing on our laptops at a Starbucks. It’s like living a Seattle stereotype.

My conference starts in an hour, woo. I’m not nervous anymore; now I’m all dressed up with my uncomfy-but-dressy shoes on and actually wearing makeup, and I can take on the world! I’ve gone from “I hope the execs like our demo” to “OUR DEMO WILL RULE EARTH!! BWA HA HA PUNY EARTHLINGS!!”

After the meeting, I hop into a taxi to Nikwax to meet up with my hostess with the mostest, the lovely Colleen.

Our ride for tomorrow still looks like a “go” — it’s cold and rainy here, but not snowing. That’s OK by me. I’m borrowing a KLR with 3″ lowering links…what could possibly go wrong? 😀 Colleen and I both have cameras to document my inevitable wallowing in the mud.

Thanks to the miracle of the Grantite Gear compression sacks that Peter got me for Christmas, I managed to fit my riding boots, armored riding pants, armored riding jacket, heated jacket liner, long underwear, thermal tights, neck warmer, riding gloves, hiking boots, toiletries, PJs, corduroy pants, and long sleeved T-shirts into a 27″ upright wheelie suitcase. I am the master of the universe.
