Leaving Las Vegas

…well, eventually. It takes forever to actually do anything in this
city. šŸ˜‰

I managed to double my money at blackjack last night, yay! Not enough
to even cover the hotel room, but it’s better than losing. šŸ˜‰ Also, if
you ever stay at the Mirage, the chinese restaurant Fin is really good.
Spicy mongolian beef/kung pao chicken, and a nice mini dessert of a shot
of Baileys and a homemade fortune cookie. Mmm.

We decided to change our route for today to stay closer to the CA/NV
border instead of delving deeper into the NV desert. It’s hotter out
than we expected and neither of us have desert survival gear with us.
Rachel is nifty, but not worth heatstroke. We’ll come back. šŸ™‚
