Annual Spring Fever

Well, it’s March, so it’s spring fever time. It’s hitting a couple weeks early because of nonstop work fire drills, but so far it’s still at a manageable level. I’m making do with planning weekend trips in April and May.

I’m always drawn to the desert this time of year. I suppose it’s because I know that the passes are still snowed in and the coast is rainy…but I can never stop thinking “southwest” in spring. Red rocks, canyons, joshua trees, bright blue skies and desert flowers…

Peter is the world’s best sweetie and came home from work yesterday bearing two Scottoilers, yayay! I was so happy that not only did the Z get a present, but that Peter bought his Superhawk a touring accessory as well.
